Job dissatisfaction doesn't always come with sirens and flashing lights. Sometimes it creeps in quietly, masked as fatigue or indifference. Here’s how to recognise the signs, and more importantly, what you can do about them.
1. You Dread Mondays (and Maybe Tuesdays, Too)
If you spend Sunday nights in a state of anxiety, counting the hours until your alarm goes off, take note. Occasional work stress is normal, chronic dread is not.
What to do: Try identifying exactly what you’re dreading. Is it a difficult manager? A difficult client? A toxic environment? Once you name it, you can decide whether it’s fixable or time to consider alternatives.
